Genetic Testing

Time Allotted:

 

• Class 1:  (Monday) Introduce assignment, let students get into groups, groups pick a side, rubrics given. (20 minutes at the end of class)
   

• Class 2: (Tuesday) Full class period spent in computer lab to do research. (This will be the only in class computer time provided)
   

• Class 3: (Thursday) 20 minutes at the end of class for the groups to get together and work on projects.
   

• Class 4: (Friday) 20 minutes at the end of class.
   

• Class 5: (Monday) All groups hand in their written portions of the assignment today. Then give 15 minutes at beginning of class and round one of debates. Peer reviews at the end of class.
   

• Class 6 (Tuesday) 15 minutes at beginning of class and round two of debates. Peer reviews done at the end of class.
